What word would explain your feelings about millinery
My Life
What is one thing people should know about millinery that they don’t know
Everyone can have a go at making something, even if it’s simple and if done with a little help can just lift an outfit amazingly.
Any other valuable tips that the reader would gain from. What has been your favourite aspect of sourcing products for lyndas millinery supplies.
Sourcing products I have never used or seen before and are so unique that my customers are going to love them. Also being able to offer the products at affordable prices.
Why do you have such a passion for it
Love being creative, and I find it is a great stress relief.
If someone is wanting to organize a hat, where should they start
Start with the shape of the customers face, what would suit best, large hat, brim or a smaller design. Give the customer some advice but golden rule is always do what the customer wants even if you don’t agree. Take into account the outfit you are matching to, fabric and trim choose to match the outfit.
Eg if flowers in dress try and make flowers and colours to suit, but sometimes nice to have a contrast.
